Jordan 13 Retro Black Cat

Giving the nod to one of Micheal Jordan’s lesser-known nicknames, the Air Jordan 13 Retro ‘Black Cat’ emerges with a colourway fit for its moniker. The shoes upper is built with suede, finished in black and overlaid by mesh, which sports a reflective finish. Rope laces secure the fit, while the usual hologram logo marks the heel. Underfoot, Zoom Air in the forefoot and heel of the phylon midsole provides cushioning, giving way to a herringbone panther’s-paw outsole for traction.

The Air Jordan XIII embodied His Airness’ slick, Black Cat alter ego. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the 1998 game shoe took on a paw-like tooling, paired with a performance-driven combination of reflective mesh, suede and leather up above.
